Can someone explain how that was not called intentional grounding on cutler when he was in the end zone. Announcers did a piss poor job explaining it

Obviously we still would have lost. NFL network basically said nothing about it. The ref did explain his reasoning but I did not hear it

Ok, so we should have gotten a safety call and two points. Then chi would have punted the ball to us just so that we could have gotten two yards went to 3rd&8 and would not have converted on a pass to Brandon Marshall due to a dropped pass. And the outcome of the game would have been 14-2..... Yaaaayyyyyyy!
