Wheeler is dynamic they are saying that he can play at all three linebacker positions. Ellerbe is now talking.

 

Ellerbe:

- Love that he wants to watch film ASAP

- Interesting that part of what the Phins told him they liked about him was his leadership on the field. (Given the speculation that Dansby's attitude was not pleasing the organization.)

 

I like Ellerbe's demeanor. Dude shows good character.

 

LOVE that he was mentored by the best MLB to ever play the game... outside of Butkus and Singletary.

 

DEFINITELY. Great attitude. And the SUPERBOWL ring gives him credibility in that defensive huddle.. plus mentored by the best.

 

Both Ellerbe and Wheeler have dreads and both can play all of the positions

 

Wonder if Rashad helped bring Ellerbe in? They went to school together.

But Ellerbe said he was totally uninvolved with the process of choosing where to go and for how much. That he left it all to his agent to find the best fit for him.

 

Add that to the template for a prototypical LB.

 

He said that the Dolphins showed how much they loved him and how much they wanted him and it was an easy decision to make. Evidently the Ravens were trying hard to get him signed.

Definitely most intimidating. And he could play today. Man could cover the pass as well as play the run.

Jack Ham was amazing too.

 

I bet part of why Ellerbe and Wheeler came was the Wake-Soliai-Starks-Odrick front soaking up all the blockers

 

Any idea what # they will wear? I bet Ellerbe will get #59 from Freeny but I'd rather him get #56. Wheeler will more than likely get #52 again. I know #'s aren't important but just curious! haha
