I'm glad for Wake, Tunsil and Stills that they don't are also in with this ****

The irony, given the spelling of the thread title. It was a pathetic showing by Miami though. Hopefully the low point of this season, but I guess we'll see come next week.

To put a positive spin on things:
We are likely to play better then this for the rest of the year.KeyFin likes this. -
Baltimore always kills us, but this was beyond atrocious. I get tanking, and i'm sure some of you will love getting our doors blown off every Sunday for the next 16 weeks, but games like today are why I hate tanking. Hey...At least we're losing the right way.

Wait until next week. Brady and Brown must be throbbing thinking about playing Miami. This is going to be worse than today.

Makes me laugh when people on this board saw this team beating expectations.
Like come on. If you looked at this roster and saw potential, I think that shows exactly how low your football IQ is.mlb1399, Tin Indian and Rock Sexton like this. -

*edit* It's EXACTLY what they are doing to Pitt right now. They could have put up a fitty burger on them if they really wanted.Last edited: Sep 8, 2019 -
I only saw a few people (myself included) that said if by some miracle the O-line wasnt a wreck and we got better QB play than Tannehill it would be possible.
FWIW I also said I could see us winning 1 game if things went badly. -
Get a grip on yourselves posters.
With a new coaching staff you can expect it to take 4 to 6 games before a team gels. During that time we will lose more then we win. What the Dolphins gel into is anybody's guess. My guess it is the team will start to accumulate more wins then losses after that point. The only bright side to this loss is that a blow out is not more of a loss then when you lose by 1 point. An L is only an L. Drama queens, please take note and then self identify!
I'm over it. The questions we should be asking ourselves are what changes should we be looking for in next weeks game in order to beat the Patriots. I feel we can use the total dysfunction that occurred in this beat down to mask some surprises for those guys. Then we need to make some general improvements, such as:
1) Better offensive and defensive communication.
2) A focused offensive game plan aimed at shorter gains and a lot more of them.
3) Make any necessary personnel changes to the defensive side of the ball. I recommend we start using our secondary players as first stringers. They can't possibly do any worse, some might play well and if they do, it may light a fire under some of our better known players to get them to at least play up to their potential and possibly start playing as a team.
Any or all of the above should help us dramatically.Last edited: Sep 9, 2019Finatik and DolphinGreg like this. -
I can tell now that a lot of people really weren't prepared for this rebuild...

Did you see Wiltz out there?!?!? You cannot tell me that he is an NFL player, and he is seeing the field for our team.
This is not an instance of a team not gelling. This team is devoid of talent. -
I am fully prepared to lose but I am not prepared to show that poorly doing it.

I mean your strategy is either to get that pick, or it isn’t. If it is, then losing in this manner is what it takes to guarantee it. You simply have to be so bad that the worst record in the league is virtually a guarantee. And if that’s your goal, then you’re going to get beaten soundly by the better teams in the league. -
