Yeah this is a little strange seeing as how they've known each other for a few months that Favre could have impregnated Mangini and he came to term this soon but its the Jets and they're all freaks of nature. The kid was also born on Brett's birthday, everything gets stranger in Jets land.

Hence the point of my post (well half way the other half was to poke fun at the situation). Seriously he has known Favre for around 2 months and you would think there is someone in his family that would have made for a better middle name for him to take from (like his father, grandfather, etc.).

In the article there's a quote from Favre asking if his name was still going to be Brett...sounds like Mangini already had it planned out. But hey...it's a good excuse to hate on the Jets coach during one of the happiest occasions anyone ever experiences in their life, so lets all pile on right? :001_rolleyes:

No one is knocking on him having a child...good for him I just think its weird he "committed" to the middle name Brett as the Jets were recruiting Favre.
