A little while ago I was watching ESPN and I listened as Berman, Jackson, and Carter all praised the play of the Dolphins this season, especially their play in recent weeks.
People on this forum frequently get upset because the Dolphins aren't mentioned more or the comments regarding the Dolphins have been mostly negative in recent years. I have always felt that the Dolphins only needed to to become a consistent winner to receive more positive press around the nation. Heck, no one ever said anything about the Seahawks until they became a dominant team in the NFL in the past two years.
The Dolphins will continue to get plenty of positive press as long as they win and especially if they make the playoffs this year. We all know Jackson will always favor the Broncos and Berman is now and has always been a fan of the Buffalo Bills. So it was refreshing to finally hear them giving positive comments regarding the Dolphins.

Agree, become a consistant winner and we will get some national love and recognition. Thats how that works. I remember certain eras....The Bills run during the early 90's, The Rams run at the turn of the century....Teams get their chance at the spotlight when they start to win...Even the Arizona Cardinals rolled up on the scene a few years ago with the super bowl run they had. Take the good with the bad I guess...Very few teams stay in the spotlight year in and year out. Seems like Dallas has the luxory of always being talked about no matter what their record is but thats about it.

They also had a very nice piece on Michael Thomas. Perhaps they will repeat this piece later in the day and you will get a chance to see it. -
I imagine as a Bills fan, Berman just can't pick the Dolphins over the Bills, no matter what. -
The Cowboys for some reason are deemed to be ,"America's team", and therefore they get far more press than they deserve. The fact many of the media personalities on the sports networks, including the NFL Networ,k are former players of the Cowboys also leads to a lot of Cowboy discussions on these networks.
If I never hear another story on the Cowboys or Jets again, I will die happy. -
I think from props from national media are important, because they form opinions and can actually allow for time.
But, as someone who knows more about the team (watches the games and follows the team) more than a random media head, I really don't care about their opinion.
I think it's more important for those that don't know about oir team. -

Do the Dolphins really deserve any "respect" or "Love"? All they've done is choke since 2001. Happens every year that they don't completely suck. And before 2002, whenever they didn't choke away a playoff berth, they got absolutely destroyed and embarrassed in the wild card or divisional round.
