Henne is our future, I cant wait to see what he can do with some weapons.
-
I can't wait to see him in 2010. He played well in '09 and will only get better with another offseason under his belt. I'm pumped for the future of this team with Henne at the helm.

Henne is just a big lug, hopefully there will be no Sophomore Slump as if anything, the schedule is a touch easier this year than last season.
Henne, heck the entire Dolphins team, went through a meat grinder last season that should pay dividends this year.Delfin Alejandro and dolfan7171 like this. -
With a season of watching/learning and now a season of learning through playing under his belt i really feel as if henne is ready to be one of the better QBs in the league

We desperately need to get him some receiving weapons though. When we talk WR, a lot of people weigh the position vs needs just based on the WR position alone.
Its about more than that though, its about giving Henne tools to succeed. WR and TE will be big spots to fill this offseason.dolfan7171, gunn34 and jetssuck like this. -
Well I don't know about you guys but I think he did great, given that he did not get most of the snaps in the off season and the receivers were not accustomed to his cannon. If he works on his timing and touch, I think he will be a hell of a lot better. Oh and on a side note Hartline is going to be a beast next year, watch and see.

I do not know that he will be a beast, but I think he will continue getting a good YPC avg. As tall as he is, I would like to see him put on a few more pounds, but I do not know if that will hinder his elusiveness.dolfan7171 likes this. -
I think Henne played like a young first year starter for the most part last season. But, what I really liked about him was seeing him improve from week to week, and his short memory after making a bonehead decision/throw. I saw him maturing and becoming a better QB, as well as the leader this team so desperately needs at the QB position. Excluding Pennington, that's something this team has really lacked since Danny retired IMO.
I agree that I expect him to be even better this upcoming season, assuming of course the FO does something to provide him with the weapons he needs to succeed. A healthy Ronnie Brown will help, a lot. But, something has to be done to improve the WR corps, and the TE position.dolfan7171 and jetssuck like this. -
Henne got some incredible experience in a lot of close games this year. He made the players around him better.
Add in some new offensive players, and get ready to enjoy the show. I truely believe he's the real deal and its so refreshing to finally have a good qb at the helm since Dan who is also our long term solution.dolfan7171 likes this. -
i really like chad henne too
i think he is going to be uber special in this league for a long time to come
only thing that worries me is that fake eye injury
if that thing keeps coming back we have serious problems
other than that he should be good as golddolfan7171 and gunn34 like this. -
So much to be impressed about with Chad Henne. Amazing what he accomplished in his first year behind center. Gotta love the short memory and the ability to leave a team to 4th quarter comebacks.
-
I was very happy with Henne last year, and it was not just about his ability to throw the ball.
He showed great leadership, confidence, and learning ability. For a young QB, IMO, this is more important than stats.
Just as important, when the season was over, he got all the film from every game to take home and study. This is done by few. Penny may have had something to do with it. No matter, he is doing it. He wants to be great.
I believe Henne will be somewhere between 10 and 15 among QB's this season, which would be a very nice improvement. He has the tools, and is making the effort.Rocky Raccoon and dolfan7171 like this. -
all we need now is for him to stop making 4th quarter mistakes, and they should be all set..

they gave henne the hook because there was no reason to get your QB of the future killed in a meaningless game. They saw that he took a few big shots before the half and got him the f out of there.
Probably a very good idea.
The eye injury nonsense was fabricated -

Ashraf....Did u really put Flacco in that list? Henne played better than Flacco did his 1st season. Henne will be better than Flacco. IMHO Funny though both QBs need more weapons this off season.

So what do you guys think, Thigpen and White will back up or do you really think all 3 will compete for starting job???
I am interested as I was impressed with Thigpen during that last game, the guy is very mobile and has a decent arm. -
I never said anything about pat white
merely stated that they didn't want to get CH killed in a meaningless football game
It would be real interesting to know if Henne would have stayed in the game had it been different circumstances, say a win and your in kinda deal
oh well we'll never know
it all seemed a little fishy to me
since we are talking about it I read somewhere Henne had some vision problems anyway
anyone know if there is any truth to this?LandShark13 likes this. -
