"The biggest debate involved fullbacks Tony Richardson and Lousaka Polite, for whom passionate Dolfans made a convincing case. The vote was close enough that my influence would have allowed me to pick Richardson for the All-AFC East team, but you Polite zealots wore me down." http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/17768/your-2009-all-afc-east-team-revealed
I am legitimately surprised that Thomas Jones got it over Ronnie Brown. IMO, when they're both healthy, Brown is miles away from Jones. In a positive direction.
It's probably because Brown was hurt. Jones won by default since NE and BUF have no running backs worthy.
Jason All was tied for ST player so props to him. Funny how Ted Ginn made it and he still gets zero respect for anything he does
I still don't understand Tim Graham's love for Tony Richardson. He's stated repeatedly that he thinks he's hands down the best FB in the division. And yet Polite has been a great blocker and he's automatic in short downs for 2 years now. I'd love to understand why.
Is this the same Ronnie Brown who has missed 20 games over the past 5 years versus 1 for Jones? Is this the same Ronnie Brown who has run for 2297 yards less than Jones in the past 5 years? Is this the same Ronnie Brown who's best season rushing was 1008 yards which is less than each of Jones last 5 seasons 1402 yards rushing 1312 yards rushing 1119 yards rushing 1210 yards rushing 1335 yards rushing The only stat that Brown does beat Jones in is receiving yards Although I love what Brown has done with our team and his running of the wild cat to say he is miles ahead of Thomas Jones is just not correct
I think it's more that Ted Ginn gets no respect for the things he doesn't do. Who knew that Cam Cameron would have been correct WE DID DRAFT A KICK RETURNER WITH THE 9TH PICK
Tony Richardson isn't even close to belonging in the conversation. If anything, McClain learned how to lead block well and should be there as an all-around player.
