You would think this game was going to end up worse. It didn't turn out as bad as a defeat as I thought it would for the Raiders. They had something like -2 yards in the first half and had no first downs through like three quarters. Just terrible.
I agree Lab. It also helps Ryan a lot that he has a good run game and an OC who plays up to his strengths. They've opened up the playbook a lot quicker than it was expected though because Ryan takes in the information so quickly. Very intelligent guy Ryan is.
I wished we had gone after Burner in the offseason. Me and FFIC were high on him and thought he would be a great compliment to Ronnie. Ah well, glad to see hes doing well, I like the guy. Same for Ryan. There were so many haters on him leading up to the draft, nice to see a guy make them all eat crow once in awhile. Certainly quite a difference between him and Jamarcus Russell right now. If Ryan can finish out the year strong have to think hes the ROY even with all the great RBs busting loose.
The Raiders are like the Knicks, tons of overpaid names that collectively play worse than they should, with awful management. Being a Raiders fan must be brutal right now, what do you have to cheer about?
