I think E's pretty obviously that guy who makes strange moves that we all laugh at that wind up working far better than a lot of other moves.
True but like was said there's FA. And its not like he has a huge name O line protecting him now. IMO we probably have more "names" in our O line than the Broncos do.
Really Ryan Clady isn't a huge name? Only a top 5 LT in the league. Beadles and Franklin are pretty serviceable.
What's a good time to bring this back? Before or during the GML, and yeah this year you guys get the #1st overall pick.
Probably right around when the NFL regular season is over... I would say "unless we make the playoffs..." but at 1-3 that seems like a pretty hollow statement.
http://espn.go.com/blog/afcwest/post/_/id/49415/clady-albert-playing-at-a-high-level Nope but Denver hasn't really made progress in contract talks. Their last offer was 5 years 50 million 28 million guaranteed. He is seeking Joe Thomas money. Jake Long is going to want at least 12 million a year.
He was *** awful according to PFF in 11, so maybe just a down year. 10.4, 21.3, 24.2, -12.4, 9.9 thus far. I also have issues with PFF, but nevertheless. You dumb. You real dumb. Fix your damn puter.
especially against my defense.... I mean Toddsphins' team. Draft 1.33. Andre Branch........... actual: 2.38. {12 tkl, 1 sack, 1 FF, 1 FR, 1 PBU. Looks promising} 2.40. Dontari Poe............. actual: 1.11. {38 tkl, 4 PBU} 2.45. Kendall Reyes.......... actual: 2.49. {28 tkl, 5.5 sacks, 1 PBU} 3.100. Bruce Irvin............ actual: 1.15. {8 sacks, 1 FF, 1 FR} 4.105. Ronnie Hillman....... actual: 3.67. {330 yards rushing} 5.142. Quentin Saulsberry. actual: undrafted out of 253 picks. {Broncos PS} 6.173. Donte Paige-Moss... actual: undrafted 7.210. Demario Davis....... actual: 3.77. {35 tkl, 1 FR. Looks like a stud in the making} *Draft differential compared to the actual draft: +196 .... add in defensively: - likely All-Pro Daryl Washington (134 tkls, 9 sacks, 1 INT, 4 PD, 2 FF, 1 FR) - DeAngelo Hall (95 tkls, 4 INT, 14 PD) - Ray McDonald (49ers' quality LDE) - Daniel Manning (77 tkls, 2 INT, 8 PD, 3 FF, 1 FR, 1 TD) - nickel DT, Karl Klug That's a top 3 defense in the making right there. BTW, so much for this defense "sounding good in theory" or the notion that "physical ability was sacrificed for character".
That was a great 6th round pick. Too bad your starter is your 3rd rounder, Nick Foles. haha. Hey, when half your draft consists on picking QB's you're likely to get lucky, no? Schisno should've re-named the original thread "Expansion Quarterback" rather than Expansion Franchise so that we, I mean you guys who participated, wouldn't have had to spend all that time building a team, drafting players, writing up a report, etc.
I barely remember doing this (that's what she said)... Although now that I see my DC was Junior Seau, I'm not sure how to react. Apparently he chose not to be my defensive coordinator.
Moreno was having a great yr, and so was Manning, David Wilson was a stud towards the end of the yr as well as Hilton. Overall I think I did ok.
