Hmm, I am, think running ball means winning football games for the Dolphins Franchise, while FA running backs won't get nearly as many looks as the FA Qb's the subject is probably more important. imo.
Not the case though. He was asked how his injury is healing and said his leg was stronger than the other one and he said he was 100 percent.
I've been trying to find the "10 biggest lies told at NFL training camps" and cannot find it, but rehabbed successfully was one of them along with "best shape of my life" and "never worked harder in the offseason" etc. I do like Sheets as he was on my longshot sigpic last yr, Achilles injuries are tough to for running backs to overcome, not saying it is impossible but even when he does, he has 1 career carry how much can he be relied upon?
Sounds like they think we get the leftovers. I can't blame anyone though.....right now St. Louis is much more attractive than the Miami setup. Isn't that sad ?
They are quite clearly an ascending team, especially on offense. We are in neutral, at best. I think we've regressed actually. If I am looking to win a division, and get to the playoffs easier and the money is essentially the same, its a no-brainer IMO. That NFC West is winnable by any of the teams, and we are at best 3rd in our division, if not 4th (which is what I believe we are).
Well, Mando has as article on D Williams reality: http://miamiherald.typepad.com/dolphins_in_depth/ Which to me is one more reason why a Vet Running back such as Portis or McGahee or even a remarriage with Ronnie B is more likely. Another name that could be of interest is Lorenzo Booker, he paid his dues in the UFL and played fairly well for the Vikings in 2010, I'd doubt he sticks in MN as they drafted a Wr/Kr type named Burton who makes more sense for them.
Leg being 100 percent healed and running are two different things though. He said he was healed and was about to start running on it to see how things go and if all went well, he'd start timing himself soon.
I highly doubt players look at things like you do. Some players may have actually played against Miami last year and know that with a couple of additions they might actually become very good.
That is the thing, that particularly injury is hard on explosiveness, I am cheering for the guy Ozman, but am also waiting to see it on the field.
That particular injury can become stronger than the non injured leg though. It depends on the person.
