    A former Dolphins defensive end cashed in on Wednesday when Olivier Vernon signed a record-breaking deal with the Giants.

    Derrick Shelby won’t join Vernon at the top of the curve, but he also became a former member of the Dolphins before the day was out. According to multiple reports, the Falcons have signed Shelby to what Field Yates of ESPN reports is a four-year deal with $7.5 million guaranteed out of a maximum $21 million.
