Gentlemen, we meet here in this subforum to discuss what is best in life--to crush our enemies, to see them driven before us, and to hear the lamentations of their women. Sometimes our dominance extends to the heavens, and we can only bask in awe of what we of flesh and bone have wrought with the labors of our hands.
In English, this means "post the roster of your most one-sided fantasy team." You know, the one where you forgot to manage the roster correctly one week and you still won by 30 points. The one where you managed to trade Jeremy Shockey for Andre Johnson, only to reclaim Jeremy Shockey off waivers after his injury and trade him again after recovery--to the same person!--for Chris Johnson. Not that I'm bragging or anything. :escape:
After completing a trade of Ben Roethlisberger, Marshawn Lynch, and Plaxico Burress for LaDainian Tomlinson and Aaron Rodgers, this is my lineup:
QB: Kurt Warner, Aaron Rodgers
RB: Clinton Portis, Chris Johnson, LaDainian Tomlinson, Jonathan Stewart
WR: Roddy White, Anquan Boldin, Marques Colston, Andre Johnson, Kevin Curtis
TE: Anthony Fasano
K: Rob Bironas
DEF: Carolina, Minnesota
-
-
This wasnt in the league where I beat you last week I take it :wink2:
-
Only one? :tongue2:
-
mine is
QB: Donovan McNabb, Aaron Rodgers
RB: Clinton Portis, Frank Gore, Chris Johnson
WR: Brandon Marshall, Larry Fitzgerald, Marques Colston, Santana Moss, Reggie Wayne, Chris Chambers
TE: Antonio Gates
K: Nick Folk
D: Tennessee
It's an 8 team league. I offered Portis for Ronnie Brown after Ronnie's big week and got declined. Glad I did.
Oh, and with that lineup, I lost last week -
That's a damn fine lineup, especially at WR. I would personally bundle Chambers and Moss for an upper-tier RB, especially because trade deadlines are approaching and Portis has a sprained MCL.
-
Here's my lineup in an espn league I'm in..
QB - Warner
WR - Ocho Cinco, Boldin, Cal Johnson, Wayne, Muhammed
RB - LT, L.White, C.Johnson, J.Jones
TE - Witten, Gonzalez
K - Prater
D/ST - Eagles
We start QB, RB,RB,RB/WR,WR,WR,WR,TE/WR,TE,K,D/ST. So I usually put in Witten and Gonzalez.
I'm 8-2 in this PPR league. I traded Bush/Bowe for Boldin/Johnson 3 days before Bush got hurt, lol. -
-
Yeah, you have a great team, and you should have at least one more win with that roster. I think injuries and bye weeks screwed you over, especially with Westbrook and Smith. -
-
Gotta brag about my lineup for a second:
QB: Philip Rivers, Jason Campbell
RB: Frank Gore, Jamal Lewis, Ricky Williams, Ray Rice
WR: Reggie Wayne, Chris Chambers, Derrick Mason, Joshua Cribbs (those return yards I love)
TE: Tony Gonzales
K: Mason Crosby, John Carney (Houston, we have a kicker controversy)
The reason I brag? In a 16 team keeper league, that's one heck of a lineup. I rock :shifty: -
Good luck getting Willie Parker. -
Here's another team I have that I'm quite fond of but my record sucks!
QB - Warner, Rodgers
WR - Fitz, Wayne, AJ, Gonzalez, A.
RB - Slaton, Brown, Jackson, Jones, McGahee
TE - Heap, Scaife
K - Kasay
D/ST - NE.
Three times I've been up against the only team that could have beaten me. I'm 4-6 with that squad, unreal to me. -
I can believe a 4-6 record with that team. Your RBs are hot and cold. RBs win fantasy leagues, even PPR leagues. If you had Portis on that team you'd be 7-3.
-
No way dude. Just bad luck, I've done a good job of putting the RB's in the right week. I had Steven Jackson in vs. Dallas, TJ in last week, etc. One loss I had was when Brown (since traded for him) went nuts vs. Pats, another loss was last week to the JETS D and their 25 pts..lost by 6 scoring 127 pts. -
I don't know, that roster seems to be missing a centerpiece. Maybe it's just personal preference, but I'd prefer a rotation of WRs than a rotation of RBs.
Aqua, having Warner AND Cutler together is an achievement. Good stuff.
