Matt Schaub??? Really? Wake and Long should be locks, I also think Vontae has a better shot than Joe Haden....Fasano may sneak in with an injury. Dissapointed our two prized pickups Marshall/Dansby no where to be found in the discussion.
Marshall and Dansby have played well but, not at a Pro Bowl level. Good to see Fasano getting some credit. He is a blocking machine.
If gates comes back he is in and lewis from the jags is having a good year.But with 5 games to go will see.How come dan carpenter is not mentioned he is leading the league in feild goals made? As for qbs I have to disagree brady and cassel are having better years than manning and schaub.
FellowMember Southbeach: don't think Fasano is a ProBowler but may well be on his way. we need to pick up another TE to balance out this act in the off season
Not a chance in hell. I like and appreciate the way PFF does things, though. They take blocking into consideration, which really no one does.
If not for the injuries to Gates and Clark, he is not. However, it is good to see him rated in the top ten at his position. We really do need a 2nd TE.
I know he is 84% but he also has more attempts than anybody else.I do agree on the kickoffs but to not even mention him not to sure about that.
I'm very happy with both of our kickers. I believe many tie in our ST's play overall to them, which is not quite fair but understandable. Sme of Carpenter's kicks are directional or bouncers to try to cover up some bad coverage. Then you lok at the return avg, which is not good. Same with Fields. People look the the blocks and the returns as well.
I am with those that believe Carpenter has to at least be in the conversation... Of course Long and Wake are locks IMO. Fasano? only if his mother controls the voting... Someone mentioned VD... early on in the season no doubt but not as of the last 3 or 4 games. AND I know it wont happen but I think Bess need to be considered as well. IMO, the best slot receiver in the NFL.
The fact that we're the #6 defense in the league rests solely on #58 and it's a shame he's not getting more recognition for it.
I posted before about adding the slot receiver to Pro Bowl voting. It is a position onto itself, and a very important one. In this day and age, it is much more important than a FB.
Dansby has not played all that well over the last 4-5 games. I am happy we have him but, realistically he is not having a Pro Bowl year.
