This could be an interesting thread to maintain. I find the most interesting things just randomly browsing through Wikipedia, for example.

Take [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hellingly_Hospital_Railway"]this[/ame], for example. Could this British railway be the origin of both the "crazy train" and "cuckoo" in popular culture?

Well, that was so mindbendingly popular, I'll try another one.

Are you a fan of mountain and rock climbing? Looking for a real challenge? Try the aptly-named Mount Triumph in the North Cascades.

It's renowned for it's lack of easy climb routes.

Just one more interesting one, and I'll let this thread die.

"Harpo Marx's remains were reportedly sprinkled into the sand trap off the seventh fairway of his favorite golf course. In his will, he donated his trademark harp to the nation of Israel."

Good one. Here's a clip for the uninitiated; classic Marx Brothers.
