I'm a big steak guy, there is a restaraunt here in town that does a Filet Mignon Royale, which means the steak is topped with a crab meat sauce oscar-style. It's ridiculous. Easily one of the best things I've gotten a chance to eat.
Being landlocked, I don't get a chance to eat seafood much, so when I'm on the coasts I usually try to eat lobster, swordfish, halibut, etc., because you just can't get those in Kansas.
With it warming up, I'm getting back into barbecue. There's nothing better than chilling at a game our out on the patio with your friends, knocking back a few drinks and grilling up some food on the grill. It's not just food - it's socialization! If I'm going to go somewhere to eat some barbecue, I'd have to recommend Arthur Bryant's in Kansas City. It's ridiculously good.
I also really like homestyle foods at the right times - comfort foods if you will. Mac and Cheese, roasted turkey, rustic stews. They're great on a rainy day when you just want to chill out at home.Last edited: Apr 20, 2008 -
