So ... as some of you may or may not know I am traveling, which means I am away from my wife (Mrs. Odin) for about 3 weeks. While this has increased my boredom, it has given me a chance to watch films that I otherwise wouldn't get to watch at home. Last week, I watched all of the Rambo movies, start to finish, and this week I've watched the first couple Dirty Harry movies.

Both have been immensely satisfying to watch, albeit for different reasons. Rambo is like watching the ultimate action hero, and Dirty Harry is the hardboiled cop drama. This got me thinking, what is everyone's favorite "guy" movie?

It's funny you mention those movies, because aside from the most recent Rambo, I just ordered the Dirty Harry collection and Rambo trilogy from deepdiscount.com. I've never seen all the Dirty Harry's before, though I am familiar with the character to an extent. Can't wait to watch them all.

It's becoming clear to me that Clint Eastwood was the Action Movie Hero in Hollywood prior to Stallone, Arnold, etc. The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly is one of my top 10 films of all time, and I'm really enjoying the Dirty Harry series. Hard to believe they were made over 30 years ago.

Just got the Dirty Harry dvd box set and it's great. The movies are a lot of fun, and you cant go wrong with Rambo either. I'd add Die Hard to the list and pretty much any Zombie movie and you have a pretty solid collection of "guy" movies.

Yea, I've ordered from them at least 10 times over the past 2 years. I tend to order most during their sales (like they have a 20% off sale right now until the 28th I think). One time they had b1g1 free or another time b1g1 1/2 off. Sometimes it takes a while to get a movie due to stock, but they have free shipping which is nice, and they have a ton of movies cheaper then retail. Like with the 20% off I got the Dirty Harry collection for like $70ish and the Rambo trilogy for $27ish (both bluray).
