What an exciting win! As I went over the stats I saw so many things that stood out and made me pumped. By far the stat I loved the most was ToP. Dolphins held the ball for 36:41 and the Bolts for 23:19. That's almost a whole quarter!!! What about you? What was your favorite(and you can only have one) stat from the Bolts game?

To me, what was the most impressive thing the team did Sunday was hold the ball for the last 5.55 minutes of the game and 'finish off' the Bolts...

A reliable offense in Miami. Feels good to have some faith in the O.

Pennington is a badass! I'll take that Noodle Arm any day of the week! Haven't had that accurate a passer since Marino... Ferguson is a stud and Roth, Bell and Porter are badasses!

SD 3-12 on 3rd down. Sporano says they have been working on 3rd down both sides of the ball. It builds confidence in the coach when when he focuses on a detail and it becomes a factor on game day.

The ONE thing that does have me a little nervous...didnt we have 17 points like halfway through the second quarter?

The defense shut down a team that was averaging like 34 a game I believe. That is really outstanding...

And yes, us holding the ball for that long helped the defense get rest when they really needed it down the stretch

It was nice to see us taking a knee instead of trying to march down the field for a winning score.

    goal line stand. defense.

helped keep our momentum and possibly kept the outcome of the game the way it was.

I believe with our lack of offensive firepower, this is the kind of thing Sparano is looking for to shorten the game, and give us the best chance to win the games.

My favorite stat(s) was that we were 7-14 on 3rd downs while holding the Bolts to 3-12 I believe. They were also 0-1 on 4th down.

With the exception of that 43 yarder where Goodman got turned around (abused) by Jackson we dominated 3rd down yesterday.

    My Favorite - Total Yards:

    San Diego - 202
    Miami - 390

We doubled what was considered the most potent offense in the NFL.

I think i remember seeing a stat that had us with 1 penalty for only 5 yards. If that was the case (just looked yupp ONE Penalty all game) that is impressive. That shows me our guys are buying into the coaches. Some of the same players are being extremely disciplined, who were not discilpined years past.

That and ZERO turnovers. OUr qb knows how to control a game and give our team a chance to win any week of the season.

Yes sir 1 penalty for 5 yards. To correct your post, we did have 1 turnover (the Bess fumble) but 0 from the offensive side of the ball. Which is another stat that I loved.

Shows that the fins dominated both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball. Great stat!

Yeah, stopping at 17 points made me a little nervous, especially after the missed FG and the ST fumble.

The time of possesion stat is very telling when you consider that Miami's offense didn't see the field until halfway through the first quarter.

That means after their initial drive, San Diego only had the ball for 16 minutes or so for the rest of the game.

    Outstanding.
