Favre confident Jets will take the AFC East.

"How confident am I that we'll be in the playoffs?" Favre said Wednesday. "I think that I have to be honest and tell you that I am really confident, as I should be."
I am not 100% confident this is our year, but it would be soooo nice to send them packing, even if we lose in our first playoff game. WK 17 is my superbowl this year!
I'm actually hoping the Jets win this weekend along with us.
That way the Pats absolutely will not win the division.
Then we can beat the Jets in their house and be AFC East champs!!
Woohoo!!!
Get dirty, get bloody, get sweaty...
...get happy.

It's all right there for the Jets. They will make it to January, or Mangini might have been better off naming his kid after Chad.

There is nothing wrong with this thinking. Color me the the opposite though. I'd like nothing more than for both the Patsies, and Jetsons to lose THIS week while the Dolphins win.
It would not clinch it for Miami but it could get rid of NE's chances, and put a ton of pressure on them Jetsons to win against Miami.

The Jets would be a little more dangerous if they took a loss this week and we won. Let 'em win, let Pennington lead the Fins to victory in their house and let me LMMFAO all the way to the new year!!!!!!!!
as long as we win out our next two games I don't care who else wins in the division.

That sure works for me, too... :knucks:
...sadly, I just don't see both teams losing. I hope I'm wrong!

I've never heard it called that.
+1 to the list.

Favray has to sound all confident, and he probably is, but we are a better team than we were by a lot.
I absolutly hate the Jets, and I hope Porter rocks Favre's world.

I don't think a loss would make them anymore dangerous than a momentum swinging win.
I'll never ever hope the Jetsons win a game unless its good for Miami.

I see your point but the letdown when we give 'em the beatdown will be that much harder to take for them. Picture all those Jets clowns with an 'Oh ****' look on their face when we're up by 3 points in the fourth. There's 8 seconds left, it's fourth and goal, Jets have the ball on the nine, and Favre throws it right into the hands of Will Allen.

If that were to happen there would be about 10 people in the gameday thread with pistols in their mouths. ThePhins.com server would melt from all of the negativity!

^ I would be one of them if we lost.
