I know his 'comeback' thing was done to death last year, but I guess he might still want to play. While I don't agree with it, I hope he has the best of luck with whatever he decides to do, he's one of the best, IMO.
"Championships. Money. Fame. Competition. Those are the things that drive most quarterbacks. Not Brett Favre though; he's more interested in revenge.
According to a New York Daily News column by Gary Myers, a(nother) Favre return to the NFL would be motivated by his desire to get revenge on the Packers, the team that kicked him to the curb last spring in favor of Aaron Rodgers."

lol, this is just like JT going to the pats minus the retirements. green bay fans are going to be pissed if he goes to minnesota.

You're absolutely right, it's going to hurt him wanting to retire as a Packer. While he'll still be considered royalty, it's best if he just let's it go and be done with his career. Still, best of luck to him.

ohh, now it's revenge motivating him.. too bad didn't stay with the jets

Apparently his shoulder needed surgery, and they let him go. Again, I hope he does well with whatever he ends up doing, he's a standup guy.

The question is, will Madden come out of retirement then.

Gee another offseason of will he or won't he, shocking. Farve is officially a media whore and a shadow of himself. I wish he had stayed in New York, his play down the stretch was a nightmare. I'd rather have Jackson or Rosenfels at this point.

At least the Raiders have hope. Al Davis just turned 999. They say his years on Earth are only supposed to be 1000.anlgp likes this.

i dont know how anybody can still wish this clown luck, he is a cheater when he comes back, it was always about paying back to green bay how they treated him, i hope he comes back and gets CRUSHED

Just curious, do you hate the guy 'cause he had a great career, or because he won't lay down and go home? That jackass GM at Green Bay treated him like ****, and casually escorted him out with a draft pick of his own selection. If that had happened to Dan Marino, I'da been pissed off. Love your avatar, btw, Gran Torino is a great movie.

i agree that he needs to come back for more than sticking it in GBs craw, but how is it cheating if he comes back? i'll also agree that it's getting old about him retiring and unretiring.. but i think he did it this way because he didn't want to ask the jets for a release. he's since been released onto the retired reserve list and can sign with whomever he wants.
it's his legacy, his decision to stay retired or come back. if someone wants him why not come back? one day he will be completely unable to play and physically won't be able to come back.
i think he comes back and goes to minnesota, and what's more with the running game of AP and Favre's PA passing and their defense they could be pretty damn dangerous.Jaydog57 likes this. -
