    It was almost a foregone conclusion. It seemed evident early on (and it has been noted by several people on this site) that the cop did his job poorly that evening.

    From what I read I thought he should do some jail time, 30 days or so.

    The prosecutor would/should have never been able to get jail time. It was a misdemeanor traffic offense blown out of proportion.

    Good, we need Starks on the DL. And I see no reason for giving the guy jail time for being stupid and overloading a freightliner while driving what, 15 mph? And sober to boot.
