I bought it today... HOLY ****!! Square really out did themselves. They took their best storyline ever (arguably) and added grade A cinematics to it. GREAT stuff!

FF fans, go get this NOW!

Great game that's missing some minor polish. I'm up to Mysidia right now. It's like I'm playing it for the first time.

Wait a minute, you BOUGHT it? WTF?

I would get it, but I just played through the GBA version like a year ago. I might download it just to have it and play it in the future.

I'd buy it but I'm still trying to finish FFT A2. I'm like 36 hours in and have only finished about 60 - 70% of the main quest.

    Don't download it. Buy it.

As for having played the GBA version already... it's irrelevant. I played FF4A to death when it came out, and I can tell you FF4DS is different enough to warrant a playthrough right now.

It really does feel like a whole new game... The cinematics are great. Seems very hard though

The game's been rebalanced, and the difficulty is apparently above that of the original non-easy type Japanese FF4 (which we finally got in FF4A.) Honestly, except for the Underground Waterway, the game still feels like a cakewalk to me... but I think Ninja Gaiden is easy, so take that as you will.

I made it to the final dungeon before being made aware of New Game +, 2 optional mega-bosses in the replay, and the utility of Augments. So now I'm restarting the game for the sake of replaying the game AGAIN after this. How sad is that?

Did I mention there's a New Game ++, so really you're supposed to play through three times? I'll have four before all is said and done. Yeesh.

Just got to the Antlion Cave. I'm trying to blaze through this. Mount Ordeals or bust!

Okay... using Augments makes this game much, much easier.

Rosa can cast two spells in one turn, Rydia's casting time is halved, Cecil now draws and counters all attacks, Edge can attack from the back row with the same strength as if he were in the front row... now I remember why I keep replaying Final Fantasy Tactics. Twinking characters out is fun.

Let me just say that Augments are awesome and add an amazing level of depth and variety to the battles. I don't know how I would have gotten through some of these fights if not for Dualcast and Omnicast.
