Here it is. Right around the 40 second mark. http://ebaumnation.com/2009/07/22/jordan-crawford-dunks-on-lebron-james A nice dunk, but hardly worth keeping under wraps. The sad thing is TMZ paid over 10 Grand for a lesser, cell-phone quality version.
I guess because this was a college kid he felt he needed to hide it? I think this hurts Lebron's rep, mainly because he comes off as a ***** for making Nike seize the tapes.
That was Lebron's fault. He didn't expect the player to throw it down on him, so he rotated to the basket to late, and went for the block. By then, it was too late. He did this to himself. He should have let the videos go. By taking them away, he made the video bigger than what it was.
He didn't even get dunked "on". Its not like the kid jumped over him and threw it down in his face. Lebron missed a block. Woooooo big deal.
I think he did get dunked on. Lebron waited for him to come and went for the block. The man just threw it down on him.
Agreed, which is why I said earlier LeBron looks like a ***** for not wanting this released. Had he not done that, this story would've died in a day.
Well, considering Lebron went over to Nike officials right after the dunk, then they went to the kid with the camera and asked for it, never returned it, and Lebron has kept quiet the whole time, I'd say he didn't want it released.
I don't get the big deal. I know who Lebron is but don't understand why he thinks one dunk is such a big deal. Is he supposed to be like the titanic? Not able to be dunked on? Cuz we all know how that story ends.. It's one dunk. Get the **** over it Lebron. To me that's like someone saying Jay Cutler or Tom Brady or Ben R. or Peyton Manning threw an incomplete pass or an interception. Even to marquee names stuff is going to happen.
It was a couple different people. Two of the kids on the court (I say kids, they were probably early 20's) had their cameras confiscated right after the dunk. And why hasn't Lebron said anything? Like, "Hey, yeah, the kid dunked on me... haha." End Story. Nope, he's so self concious he can't even play-off a dunk Id give about a 4 on the posterization meter.
That's just it though, it's not even worth it for Nike to have to tell him that. If the kid threw it down so hard he broke the back board and Lebron fell on the ground and the kid hovered over him afterwards I could understand. But this was so menial it confirms what alot of people have been saying about LBJ for awhile now.
thats the problem i have with it, if people hadn't been saying that, everyone would think it was nike. it cuts both ways.
