http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/10/11/jermichael-finley-and-nick-barnett-are-scheduled-for-surgery/ Rodgers, Matthews and Pickett are all questionable at this point. McCarthy seems confident Rodgers will play.
not too mention Barnett, Ryan Grant, and also Donald Lee....so they are down to their 3rd string tight end....pretty embarrassing if Miami doesnt win....
At this point, I think they could bring in a Milwuakee high school ST unit and we would be in trouble.
i wouldnt be surprised at all if they hold rodgers out as a precaution. the nfl is taking concussions seriously.
TEs have been our soft spot. We're certainly getting help from the football gods. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Definitely turning into a must win. We have to rebound after losing 2 straight, and with all the injuries this one almost seems gift wrapped. No excuses, we need to move the ball and put up points. Defense just needs to prevent the big play and contain Rogers, if he plays. I would not be surprised to see them pull a Chicago and sit him a week.
They should sit Rodgers as next game they play the Vikes. Still with all the injuries I am still alittle cautious with this Miami team. Alot depends on the playcalling and execution. Still worried, but man we need to win.
My Lobo's. They are currently ranked 118 out of 120 Div 1 teams. That's a tough call. Both are pretty damn bad. I would say both.
Actually, after venturing a bit, SD has 2 KR that actually show up on the stat sheets (Crayton and of course Sproles) so by default that pretty much makes us worse...
but we have ted ginn.....oh wait......well we have his replacement nolan carroll who looked decent albeit in a limited role. i really hope they start using him more on KRs and then eventually PRs
If they can't beat the Packers after all these injuries and with an extra week of preparation, something is seriously wrong. I don't think Rodgers will play because look at what happened with Cutler last week. Before last season he would have played, but the NFL is taking a stricter stance on concussions now. I would be shocked if he played, because it's common knowledge that playing so soon after a concussion significantly raises the risk for another one that can have serious consequences down the road.
Really? I wouldn't be. Has already been a couple of starting QB's that have had to sit a week so far this season for the same reason.
