Not long after Bill Parcells arrived as V.P. of football operations in Miami, the coaching staff was gutted like a trout with a weakness for cheese served on shiny metal one-pronged forks. Now that the draft is over, we’ve caught wind of what could be the start of a similar bloodletting of scouts from the team’s front office.
Per a league source, the Fins have parted ways with regional scouts Ellis Rainsberger, Jack Glowik, and Roger Pollard.
Dolphins V.P. of media relations Harvey Greene says that Rainsberger has retired. He had no comment on Glowik or Pollard.
Glowik was hired by the Saban regime in 2005, after spending 25 years in the college ranks as an assistant coach. Rainsberger also joined the team contemporaneously with the Nicktator, and has worked in the NFL for 15 years. Pollard, a BLESTO scout, is the only guy who worked for the team before Saban took over.
It’s unknown whether this is the end, or only the beginning.

How come this is happening after the draft? Unless they didn't have enough time to replace these guys when they came in before the draft? Just seems odd to me. If they are happy with the draft they just had, these guys must have had a part of it right?

Don't you think Ireland carried over a lot of draft information from Dallas and that had some bearing on who we picked in this draft? They probably didn't let the scouts go because it was too close to the draft. But that is JMO.

You got that right. And it shows that Parcells and company are doing things right all the way around. Pulling the trigger when they need to and holstering their weapon for the right time to fire as in this case. Patience is a virtue and they have shown that there is a right time for everything. Remember "JJ DID TIE BUCKLE"
