Interesting little tidbit in this story.

I was surprised to see Misi ranked higher. I know some people here still want Roth, but it seems it was the right move at least by the rankings.

I wish we still had him. Roth was one of the best edge setters in the game in 2008, and that was as he was just learning to play the position. I think if he was still here he'd be dominating. And we could have used the Misi 2nd round pick on a TE, WR, or a Pat White :shifty:.

Well there was a reason they got rid of him.If he was insubordinate(I don't know if he was,but that's what was rumored) they had to make an example. The guys that replaced him are an upgrade.

Matt Roth was a me-first kinda guy. You can't have guys faking injuries as leverage for contract negotiations. The guy was a punk. Good riddance. There's plenty of LBs in this league who can set the edge when they have zero pass-rushing responsibilities.

Also, since being in Cleveland he's demanded a trade and appeared on the injury report with a so called "hamstring" and *cough* "illness" the last 4 or so weeks which just coincides with yet another drop in his play.Pandarilla likes this. -
In any case I think the situation was mishandled by the front office, like others have said. Maybe they didn't want him on the team anymore, but they gave away what has proven to be a productive asset for nothing, which is just not a good move.
