Someone bought it simply to sell it. It would be one thing if another fan bought it out of frustration, but this domain was purchased by a company to sell it. Which is shady considering how specific the name is and how small the market would be for the name.

In case this post ^ wasn't clear...I'm questioning Ricky's motives.

 

First off, the site name is worthless EXCEPT TO SELL because Gase and the Dolphins will sue the domain owners for slander in a heartbeat, plus a court order will get the site shut down quickly since it's trying to profit off someone else's likeness (and "profit" doesn't have to be money; it can be influence, contacts, resources, etc.). So whoever bought the domain knew exactly what they were doing and I agree with you, it was almost definitely someone in this thread that purchased it.

 

I really think we need a new forum titled "Fin Lovers/Haters" where these types of threads can go. That way the main forum isn't overrun with organizational topics that don't pertain to what's actually happening on the field each week.

For the record, I have no problem with someone saying "Fire Gase." But I'd really prefer to see, "Fire Gase because...." (and not end that sentence with a variation of "....he sucks!"). To me, that's a football conversation....referencing actual things that happen on the football field and how they pertain to our team. When we get all these threads though with "Cutler sucks, the line sucks, the cheerleaders suck, the mascot sucks, the hot dog vendor sucks..." and no other context whatsoever, it's not a main forum topic for people that come to discuss actual football.

 

But can't we change that by simply talking football more often?
