In the last few days, firefox has started behaving strangely. Whenever I'm clicking a searched item in Google, it always sends me to a forwarded page and not the link I'm looking for. I know the links are right though bc I copied and pasted them from the search.
It's also doing the same thing when I click on different menu items on sites like this one.
Anyone else having these issues?

Give this a shot.

If not, I'd run MalwareBytes. -

another thing is to google search the things that firefox is doing, maybe the site it's taking you to, and see what people say about it. usually there are removal tools out there for the specific mal-ware things like trojans, or worms. -

Slick, do you notice any new additions to the toolbar? I had a similar issue with a FireFox addon (Fast Dial) a while back, I had to uninstall it and wait for them to fix it.slickj101 likes this. -
Give ComboFix a try.
