I don't understand the Eagles mentality here. Why trade a probowler in McNabb and put the future of your franchise on an unproven QB? McNabb, IMO, has a solid 3-5 years left in him and giving him up for a 2nd rounder is just dumb. I don't get it
It was provided by an unknown "tipster" who is "for the most part right", therefore not a waste of everyone's time and NBC is worthy of the site ad revenue it generated.
Would McNabb even go to the Raiders? I don't get the Eagles, I know their sad, uninformed idiot fan base would like to get rid of McNabb. I mean all those playoff appearances/NFC title games and a Superbowl appearance are embarrassing, what fan base enjoys a winning team less than Philly? I hope they trade McNabb and go 4-12 and Reid gets fired.
Irony is wanting to trade away your best chance to win and fire your winning coach....all in an effort to win....their fanbase is just stupid, worst fans in the NFL.
I see no lombardi trophy in Philadelphia. There are tons of "winning" coaches in the NFL. Philly is admittedly one of the perennial powerhouses as I know how many division and conference titles they've won. How many super bowls in Reid and McNabb's tenure have they won? 0. That said, Cowher didn't win until year 13 IIRC. Reid is in year 11. There was 1 winning team last year. The Saints. Everyone else is dust.
Well you go with the players and coaching staff that gives you the best chance of winning a Superbowl, thats McNabb and Reid. You don't fire coaches and get rid of great players because they fall short in title games unless you have a better plan. Kolb and another coach doesn't seem like a Superbowl plan to me. I don't see where McNabb or Reid have anything to be embarrassed about, they have won a ton of games a heck of lot more than we have in Miami over the past 10 years. The eagles fans deserve what they get in Philly which will never be a Superbowl title if they have no patience.
