My criteria for a solid post is not based on whether it is popular or if I agree with it, although I often do. I do give fist bumps for good wit, humor, and timely comments, and for solid, well researched posts, again regardless of agreement. Am I on the right track here?
I use all the same criteria you do whether I agree with the post or not, but I may also fist bump a post I agree with. I also will fist bump out of appreciation for an answer to my question.
I just fist bump posts that are witty, well thought out, humorous, etc but I also sometimes fist bump when I agree with a particular post in lieu of responding and say "Yeah, I agree" or "ditto"....
I click the **** out of fist bumps, I like spreading the wealth. If its something I nod at, find fun, or even appreciate attempt at crap humor (like Fin D's posts) I still fist bump them to bring some joy to some peoples lives that otherwise would suck because they live in a trailer and talk to animals.......(again, in Fin D's case) So all in all, fist bump away, no one has a right or wrong way of doing it.
- If I agree with a post - If it adds something good or different to a conversation - humor - informative - helpful - one poster does something helpful to guide another member
Other fan websites suck, they really do.. I'll fist pump your *** if I dig your sh##, know what I mean Vern.
I just use "Fist Bumps" here the same way I use "Like" on Facebook... not much thought process behind it
And if there's a picture of a hot/semi-nude woman included, the chance of me Fist Bumping increases dramatically, again, just like Facebook...
Ha - just trying to get as many fist pumps as I can from you. But it really was the 1st thing that popped into my mind when I read the OP's post.
As most can tell if I just agree or like about any comment I'm not shy about letting all know with a big o fist bump, after all it doesn't cost a thing. Edit: Sometimes even just to acknowledge that I have seen or read a reply like it or not.
I think some base fist bumps on the criteria of whether or not a person has ever said anything bad about Jeff Ireland. I don't get many fist bumps...
3 things for me generally. 1. Extensive well presented research, and/or 2. If I agree strongly, and/or 3. If it answers my question
Yes, but I have to "get" the humor. Most of the gif responses meant to be humorous, make no sense to me.
The fact that the original post on this thread has zero fist bumps is very telling. Given his own criteria...his own thread is worthless. Ouch.
This.... plus the courteous "acknowledgement" fistbump so a poster knows I read his answer. There's also the pity fistbump. I give those for A-for-effort posts in hopes of improving their sense of self worth... like MonstBlitz's.
