    Fitz and I are almost exactly the same age. This is such a tough road to walk at times. My Mom has been gone for give years now and this road never gets easier to walk, you just get used to the feelings and emotions that come and go. I don't know...If you're Mom is still alive and you're close with her, then tell her you love her, wash her car for her, anything. It sucks when they leave you for sure.

    I can definitely relate. I knew so many of my fellow soldiers in the army who had lost their parents years ago. I feel so blessed to have lived my entire 54 years with my parents still alive.
