If we make Flacco look good Boyer needs to be fired after the game.

I'm excited to see what Thompson can do with a full week of practice and hopefully a full game.

    Bad news: PI deep balls
Good news: He is a statue in the pocket and their o-line is even more beat up than Dolphins

I hope he's fired regardless of the outcome this weekend.

They have three starters out. If we can’t get pressure on a statue like Flacco in that situation (without blitzing), there’s no excuse.

That would be a good plan for them, just throw deep every play.

Would you agree or disagree it is not the defenses fault we lost the last couple games? Why would you want him fired?

The defense was doomed to regress with the depletion of the secondary but the overall talent level is not low enough for them to be bottom 5. They also look just too confused too often.

The Dolphins rank near the bottom of the league in 3rd down defense. Buyer’s weak defensive scheme allowed the Patriots to convert on 3rd and long 2 or 3 times, allowing New England to drive down the field and score the winning touchdown.

That in itself is worthy of being fired when you can stop an offense that’s as pathetic as the Patriots.

In each of the 5 losses the defence has allowed a long, time consuming drive in the 4th quarter to close out games.
Yes, the offence has been poor but as shown throughout the whole season the offence needs to be damn near perfect every game for us to have a chance as the defence has been downright awful. It’s bottom 5 in nearly every defensive metric you can look at except yards per rush.
Also we have been killed all year by TE’s and RB’s in the flat and Boyer’s scheme refuses to cover the flat. Even last week New England scored using the same play multiple other teams have scored against us with as we leave the flats wide open all game, even on the goal line. If I can see that sitting on my couch why the hell can’t Boyer adjust? Or are Roberts and Reilly really that bad?

This defence is basically built to play with a lead as we have good pass rushers yet we still stink on 3rd and long. It’s been a disaster all year and I can’t wait to see Boyer get canned. He’s getting up there to the Olivadotti levels of dislike for me.

Wilkins, Hill, Waddle, Morestead are about the only players on the team I care about keeping. Lol. Van Ginkel I like, and Seiler.

Boyer should have been fired immediately after that ridiculous play call against the Chargers that basically gave them a touchdown. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything that stupid.

Is Bridgewater the backup or Tua? How about for the Jets?

If we can run the ball, which I think we can do with the right side of the line, we will win this game. Skylar Thompson just has to not turn it over negating any positive offensive production.

Teddy will probably back up but could be Glennon. Zach Wilson will be the Jets backup.

Good. I like the combo of Flacco and Wilson as they are beatable. No running qbs.

Didn't Flaco torch us last year when our defense was playing much better than they are now? Pretty sure everytime we sent the 0 blitz he wrecked us converting a 3rd and long. Id rather face Wilson honestly.

Not saying Flaco is any good, just that he had our number like a telemarketer lol

Flacco is going to turn back the clock against us. He's killed us for years now anyway. Doesn't matter how old he is. the guy will look like an all pro against us tomorrow. We're going to get annihilated tomorrow. Team has lost it's heart. I have no faith in Thompson as the starter. He does not have an NFL arm much less the read/react ability to even find an open receiver. Everything is going to be short contested passes that are uncatchable. The offense will stall, the defense will get tired, and Flacco will eventually carve us up. Zonovan Knight will steamroll us in the 4th quarter.

I’m fully expecting at least 4 infuriating, drive killing penalties from our offence with Hunt holding, illegal formation and illegal shifts being the highlight. That’s before the inevitable Skylar pick as all he will be doing is thowing contested passes all day long.

Throw in a dash of Flacco looking like prime Marino and our defence folding like a cheap suit in the 4th when the season is on the line.

We’ve all seen this movie before.

Lets stick with putting the slander on Eichenberg where we know it will belong as opposed to Hunt

Hunt will be good for at least one false start, turning a third and manageable into third and long. At least we won’t be subject to Jackson’s “lookout” blocking technique.

Hunt has been great this year but he has also committed so many drive killing penalties. He needs to clean that up next season.

I like reading the game post after the game is over. You can tell what play they are talking about as the posts progress.
