Actually Florida could have another 4 or even 5 loss season. UM could lose 5-6 and FSU could lose 5-6...the traditional Florida three are down....Florida is just hugely over hyped because they have a HT winner and are just 2 years removed from winning a NC.......................they still lost 4 games last year and have beaten a pretty unimpressive group so far....... They still have to play LSU/Georgia and a bowl game...and I think Vandy is a bad match up for them. IMHO they are still rated based on two years ago...people, Gator fans in particular seem to forget that they lost 4 games last year,and have the same problems. This year they came out and beat a Hawaii team that will be lucky to win 3 games, got played even by Miami Northwest High School for three quarters, and beat a Tennessee team that is just horrible. This is really their first "test" not that Ole Miss is top 20 material or anything...but they are experienced on offense and have athletes on defense. They (Florida) still have problems with Line depth particularly offensively, poor DB play particularly tackling, function only sporadically on offense when teams make Tebow read a coverage, and have 194 guys on scolly that run 3.2 something and the game is still played with one football at last check. IMHO they need to focus on recruiting some line studs. Also since Auburn provided the blue print to slow Tebow on that ESPN night game last year...Florida is 8-5 with some pretty unimpressive wins thrown in there....................
I hate to say it but the only time I pull for Florida to win anything is when they play Bama. I do hate Satan worse than Florida. Way to go Ole Miss!!!!
Why ? It was a well presented if misguided opinion . Even reasonable people resort to unreasonable speculations when there is hate involved The Gator staff around here are classy folks .We wont resort to the classless smack talk that others have displayed in this forum.
Not at all, I'm used to it. Its easy to say a team will lose X amount of games, but thats why they are played on the field, no one knows. Not to mention the bias involved in most cases.
It was a joke. I know Motion is a cool guy because he sent me a pic of Florida beating down UT and I was just playing back. The post was great and I was just playing off of Motion (like he was with me about Fulmer in the UT vs Florida thread). Motion should know this, I sent him a little pic to rub it in like he did me. Having fun folks having fun. No ill will or anything just goofing around like we always do on here. Like you saying UT was the 5th or 6th best team in the SEC before the season (which it now turns out you were being kind). BTW that's another playful joke.
Just for the record...Motion has always been a classy guy to chat with and nothing but class, trustworthy and an all around class poster and class guy, he and I have never had any issues despite disagreeing and partaking in some banter from differing opinions....Great guy.......................despite his his supporting the school in Gainesville
Agreed I have nothing against Motion and he knows that we are just ribbing each other. He blasts my Vols and I blast his Gators. That's what we do and we both are PS3 fans so we have that much in common.
