The woman is a menace. She's like The Joker, gleefully killing millions; except Paula is doing it slowly, and getting people to do themselves - like the guy in Saw.

PS: And Giada DOES have a scary, giant head.

 

You guys are absolutely killing me!

I have made one of her recipes (well adapted it). Lots of butter, but it was the only time I've ever been able to get my wife to eat grits. Now she wants me to make it every other weekend.

 

I know I will get slammed, but grits are nasty. The obvious proof is having to throw a stick of butter in them.

 

paula deans recipes are old southern type, long before people like yul gibbons & jim fix told us how to take care of ourselves, (which, by the way, are both dead) maybe their healthy way wasn't so great, cause guess what, we're all gonna die anyhow.

you can take recipes and change them just a bit and make them healthy. as for her killing people slowly, I would just say flip the channel/dont cook her recipes.

 

So,

She is killing us slowly as opposed to the current Dolphin Defensive backfield, who is killing us VERY VERY quickly..

I said this about 10 years ago with the in flux of Chinese Buffets. All you can eat tasty Chinese food at low, low prices! But back then it was the Chinese who were terrorists, not Al Quedia.

What I want to know is: Does MSG have a scent? I just know that EVERY single one of those All you can eat Chinise buffet's smell the same...and its not a very familiar smell outside of that environment....its not a very nice smell in ANY environment.

Honestly, my grandmother's been cooking like this for longer than I've been alive, and I've been doing it for about the past 20...however, I try to keep the southern goodness to once a week or so. Any more than that and the gov't. starts to track my activities, realizing I might be affiliated with Al-Paula...:shifty: As of yet they haven't caught my grandmother.:lol: In fact, I'll be over there tonite for a refresher course in fried-meat tactics: CUBE STEAK!!:yes:
