No disrespect but this is one of the worst mocks I've ever seen. No way the Panthers go Newton and no way the Bills go DT...

I'd rather us "reach" for Mallet than spend a first round pick on a RB. IMHO, a RB, even a very good one, will not have a high impact on the success or failure of a team given how prominent the passing game is in today's NFL. Mallet would be high risk / high reward pick but I'd rather see us take a chance in the 1st round then to keep making the safe pick. Continuing to make the safe pick will only bring further mediocrity.

Honestly I don't really care if it's Mallet or not. I'd just rather us take a non-RB player with that first round pick. If our FO has no confidence in Henne and thinks an available QB at 15 could be the guy, I'd hope that would be the pick. Otherwise, if they do have confidence in Henne, I'd still argue against a RB. Another WR, O-line help, any type of speed on offense I think would make a larger impact. More RBs available in later rounds that would be able to have the same type of overall impact as Ingram would. I just don't think in today's NFL a RB can change the fortunes of a team the way the Payton's, Sanders, E. Smith's, etc. of the past could. Even the best RBs of the past few years, A.P. and Chris Johnson haven't been able to get their teams in the playoffs without consistent QB play.
