I don't know enough about the Redskins receivers to make the assumption that ours are better, but I'll give you some details about our guys and then you can reply and we'll compare the two.

Jarvis Landry: sure-handed, blue collar, tough and shifty. Mostly slot but sometimes perimeter.
Greg Jennings: sure-handed, savvy route runner, veteran.
Kenny Stills: sure-handed, good route runner, speedster.
Rishard Matthews: tough and physical.
DeVante Parker: tall "red zone mismatch", sure-handed, rookie (14th pick, 3rd WR chosen in draft) .
Matt Hazel: pretty good route runner, good hands.

As you can see, there's a big emphasis on route running and hands.

Here are the average physical attributes for both WR corps:

Dolphins
Average weight: 206 lbs
Average height: 6' 1/2"
Average age: 24 years old
Average 40-time: 4.49 seconds

Redskins
Average weight: 190 lbs
Average height: 5' 10 2/3"
Average age: 26 years old
Average 40-time: 4.46 seconds

The thing that jumps out is that our guys seem to be heavier and a little taller, while your guys are faster. Your receivers seem to be more capable of making big plays with YAC (like Jackson), while our guys are probably more physical and maybe a little more consistent, especially in the red zone. Correct me if my assumptions are wrong.

I wouldn't say one WR corps is better than the other, I think both are good fits for the type of offense each team runs.

The thing about the Skins receiving corp is its more proven. Garcon plays like he is 6'3 and 250lbs. Very string. And I don't need to say anything about what Jackson brings. And while Roberts has not been consistent, he plays great with Cousins behind center. And the coaching staff is gushing over rookie receiver Jamison crowder to make a lot of plays - particularly yards after the catch. And another young kid Ryan Grant runs routes like Jerry Rice (just kidding) but you get the point. I think the experience and versatility makes the Skins group very potent.

Agreed that it's more proven, you can even see by the age difference. Dolphins 24, Redskins 26. But, like I said, looks like the WRs fit their particular schemes well. If we switched WR corps and kept everything else, I bet both would have trouble adapting. We hand-picked these guys for our offense and got rid of a ton of guys who didn't fit (see Mike Wallace)... we now finally have guys who fit to T what we want to run and they're young and will grow together. It's not that our WR corps is better than yours, but that they'd have more success in our offense than in yours, and vice-versa.

WRs are only as good as whoever is throwing them the ball.

Tannehill is better than Cousins.
