    For only $1500....

"Paul will join you and your guests at lunch or dinner. You choose the restaurant and you choose what you want to talk about. Paul will share stories from his career."

I don't know if I'd prefer that or the meal with Ray Lucas, another athlete you can do this with. List of players here: http://www.thuzio.com/all/football.html

Don't worry - there are other options you can choose if you might be intimidated to eat with Soliai.

Turns out Paul makes you pay for his meal too. Part of the experience. "Nice chat guys, make sure you tip 20% and come to our home games when you can."

I wonder how many courses he would eat?

I don't want to know. Imagine how many calories he ingests daily as part of his uh, workout routine.

I'd love to sit with Ken O'Brien for dinner. I would proceed to hand him the check then laugh for the next hour after saying one sentence: "So Ken, how did it feel to get drafted before Marino??????"" -- Commence hour long laugh session.

That link says only $1250, not $1500. Such a bargain. ;) Personally, I'd rather have dinner or attend a game with one of the old timers from when the Dolphins were a consistent winner. Maybe Don McNeal or Woody Bennett. Heck, Woody will do it for only $250. He probably has some cool stories about playing with Marino, the Marks Brothers and the Killer Bees. If I was going to spend up in the grand plus range, I'd choose John Offerdahl. One of my all time favorites.

Who in the world would pay to eat with Paul Soliai? Only way it would be worth it for me is if he's giving me inside information or something.

Who would pay to eat with anyone? Seems like a huge waste of money, honestly.

How do you think Dan Marino got that woman pregnant? If you go in with a plan your net gain can be thousands of times higher than the initial investment :)

Maybe I'll hire a smoking beauty queen to this lunch...

That's what the $1,500 is for. $100 to dine with him. $1,400 for the food.

No way am I paying that much to eat with Paul Soliai. Now to eat with Paul 13... that is a very different story.

It's for rich people. To someone taking in several hundred thousand or more a year income, it would be a drop in bucket to pay for a date with Paul. I agree with you though. No way I'm going to pay for something like that.

I call bull****... Something's not right when this website lists Eric Berry, making over $4 million this year plus endorsements and I'm supposed to believe this guy is going to spend time out of his day to go to a Bar Mitzvah for 1500 bucks?

I have a feeling that either there are some inaccuracies here, or it's a bait and switch, or when you can't the rate is 'higher'... Or the athletes they really don't have are 'unavailable'.

    There's no way.

Lol at playing a "pick up game" with Paul Soliai.

I would want to play red rover, and he's on my team.

That's weird. Why would Paul Soliai pay $1500 to eat with me? I mean I know I'm interesting, but I wouldn't pay over $200 to eat with me.

  25. 1. buying his meal is no big deal. You just take him to sizzlers all you can eat buffete and let them take the hit. I would recoupe most if not all of the $1500 by charging Sizzler for me helping them to get him out of there before he eats all their food.

    2. $1500 might be a bit pricey but I do think having the opprotunity to sit down with anyone sucessfull in life and having the opprotunity to pick their brain is always of value. He did not get to where he is at by luck and he was not handed a starter role in the nfl. He earned it and I would intrested in hearing his story and learning valuable insight from it.

You'd be correct. I believe this is the same website that has had players come out and say they have nothing to do with these guys.

Guys around here should KNOW this considering there was that whole $5000 for Tannehill at your fantasy draft that Lauren came out and said was outright bullcrap.
