Ha! That's funny. I used to sometimes play up at "the Chance" awhile back. That place did start becoming more of a pure Metal club when the new owners took over. I think I played once for the new owners, but we were not a Metal band, though I do play some Metal occasionally. We had some Metal parts in our tunes. I've always only played originals and the music is influenced by many different styles, Metal included. My musical taste is Schizo.:D
I used to go up there from time to time to see some shows. they used to get real good, big name acts up there.( I guess they still do;) Wooo!:D) I have not been up there in awhile. I recorded once with this guy up there on the main drag in town.(I guess the main drag is pretty much the whole town:D) He was pretty cool. He still used to love to record the main tracks on fat tape. :D It gave things a nice, rich, warm tone. Thanks for the flashback. (I'm not that old.)(I started real young;)) It's a hike for me to get up there. I mainly played in NYC and the surrounding areas. but you being from Newburgh, you're right there. I think I'm going to take a little road trip up to check it out and give some support to the Phin brotherhood. ;) If for some reason I don't see you....Good Luck! Rock & Roll!
Hello Poughkeepsie!!! :D -
I've always felt that progressive metal musicians are extremely musically talented compared to other genres. Personally I think Pagan's band reminds me of Dream Theater. Though their vocalist on their MySpace isn't Dream Theater-esque to me IMO, more of a hair metal sound. Nonetheless I think you'd like them... -
And the good thing is, that loser is no longer our singer. Our new vocalist is Dean Sternberg who toured Europe and played Progpower here in the States with Into Eternity.
He's added a MUCH heavier sound to our music, as well as throwing in a timely growl here and there.
And hey 124, take a run and come see us. i guraantee you'll get a good show. :wink2: -
Go get 'em pagan.
Hope you bring down the house....... -
Thank you Deb.
Filming for a DVD that night, as well as a pro photog being there. :Ddolphindebby likes this. -

Play Orlando! As a matter of fact, I want Livesay to play my housewarming party, if I ever get around to having one. Although I won't pay travel expenses, room and board, and bar tabs. Is $100.00 enough? -
:sidelol:
That's a good one bro. I should bring that one up to them and videotape the reaction. Would be almost as good as those "2 Chicks, 1 Cup" reaction vids! :lol:opfinistic and Big E like this. -
*BUMP*
This Friday gang...since no one contacted me about any tickets, I'm assuming none will be coming, but hey...gotta try anyway! :lol:dolphindebby and Big E like this. -
Maybe one day I will be able to afford a short road trip up there to see you play. Maybe even we could jam sometime. -

One quick shot...the photographer (who I'm beginning to think is a vampire because he couldn't have gotten home any earlier than 3 am and at 8 am this was in my email!) sent a sample. Lots more to follow.
Actually negotiating to play a fest on Halloween 2010 in Belgium. Should be interesting.
