I'm just curious but exactly what castoffs has Bill Parcells gone after immediately following a draft in the past??

Not just that but how many Safeties and Cornerbacks did we bring in as Free agents? We only brought in one offensive lineman. The writing was on the wall with the OL in the draft, was a bit of a surprise to take so many DL but we did get good value with each.

You can't be sure of the number, quantity or disposition of cuts. We should have drafted a defensive back in the 3rd or 4th round and that's the long and short of it.

We drafted 2 RBs Granted 1 will be a FB.

The 2 RB's puzzles me, and there can be no explanation for the two DL's other than Parcells plans to trade or cut JT. I know the draft is over and a trade didn't happen, but he might get more value AFTER the draft, a player swap or trade for a pick next draft. I loved our first day of this draft, the second did not please me at all. But you're very right in that fixing this mess will take several drafts. We're in a hole that will indeed take 2-3 years to climb out of.

No D-Back in the whole draft makes no sense to me except maybe BP figured what was available wasn't an upgrade over what we have.
