Thanks Con, good find. The thing that stands out to me most about Britt from the article is the fact that he has such small hands. I'd be concerned that this would not only affect his ability to maintain possession of a catch, but may also lead to fumbles when he gets hit after the catch. Let's hope the Brandon Marshall comparison is strictly as it relates to production on the football field, and not attitude in the locker room.
Well, it seems you can't get one without the other nowadays from WR's. I can handle a guy who gets around 950 yards with 5-7 TD's a year as long a she can block and make some big catches during the year. I don't need superstars.
Britt makes tough catches for those that have seen him, he also uses his big frame to keep CB's away from the pass, he is a big time blocker. I've said it before and will say it again, he will be the best all around WR in this draft.
I said he is my #2 prospect next to Crabtree, and I would almost prefer my team take Britt or Nicks late in rd 1 over Crabtree top 5(considering the cost).
Well, and less related to what goes on outside the stadium. Small hands aside, he's got everything I like in a WR. Size, toughness, production (at least in college), good route-running, and improving in terms of catching. Pretty much. Unless you happen to have a Larry Fitzgerald or Andre Johnson lying around. I'd be happy with a low 1000 yard WR along Bowe's production. It'd be a bit nicer to break that psychological 1000 yard effect. And for some reason Terry Glenn's name popped up in my mind....
