I think guys will slow down just so they don't have to get pulled over by A TAURUS.

Aside from the fact that you know the police version will be somewhat "tweaked" a little.
So yea...be sure about it. :wink2: -

Saw a new SHO just the other day up close, its definitely not the same old car it used to be, its really nice inside and that SHO motor is bad ***. I would drive one in a heartbeat.

I thought they would go with the Dodge Charger as the new standard cop car.

Let's be realistic bro, this isn't "The Fast and the Furious". Most street races are stoplight to stoplight. You don't see people drifting around corners anywhere. :lol:Section126 likes this. -

Do people use the thing to drag race? Sure, every drag races everything. I just dont think it's fair to say something's faster than another thing based only on a 1/4 mile drag time. I'm bet your mustang will SMOKE an F-18 on a 1/4 mile drag strip  -
What I'm saying is that very few people actually take their cars to a track. Thoroughbred horses are bred to race, but if all its owner does is use it to pull a wagon, what's the point? I'm talking about how the cars perform in basic everyday situations, which for the most part is stoplight to stoplight.
Since the VAST majority of BMW owners are uppity yuppie pricks, I doubt too many of them are spending weekends shredding anything except the paperwork on shady business deals. :tongue2: -
ill take 2 of them.

There's used to be a time when men had to fork over their man card along with the money they spent to buy a Taurus. Now you have to make sure your man card is not expired when you buy one.

Dude...the BMW 1 Series starts at that price. You'd rather pay for a bottom line car than a top of the line? :pity:
-
The 1 series starts at about $29K, you can get a 3 series coupe for $37K
I'd take the beemer any day of the week for that money

What's the difference between a BMW and a porcupine.
The porcupine has the prick on the outside. :tongue2: -

Ford makes pretty good cars and trucks these days. I think they have stayed strong and improved at least partly due to their partnership with Mazda which is another good line these days. -

Heh, I took drivers ed in a Crown Vic (was actually a decommissioned police car). And I know a few of us saw the backseat of one under less than ideal circumstances.
Hopefully the Taurus will be a bit roomier back there.
If it were me, I'd be calling that thing the New Taurus. Or the Taurus X2. Something besides Taurus.NaboCane likes this. -
