We need more big plays outta the defense - INT's specifically. This is a very very solid unit, but our inability to get the ball into our offenses hands - let alone score - like other top D's will really hurt us if we can't improve from last year.
Parcells always liked the old guys including old QBs, it's a shame the damage that old **** Henning must have done to Henne's confidence.
I think that the change in attitude (make big plays vs. avoid mistakes) is huge. I think it's part of why Henne looks more comfortable out there. And I think that the increased comfort of the D in Nolan's second year might have a similar effect. I could easily see our defense getting into one of those grooves where the INTs come in bunches (much like NO did in their SB year).
