Schisno. I dont know what youre paying, but it is the winning bid. Congrats. PSG refuses let me have Manning because I traded down from #8. First he demanded 2 top 10 picks, then he demanded #8, #27, and Michael Roos. I couldnt do either of those things. #8 and #27 wasnt good enough for him, and now he'll end up with #23 and #26. I even offered him more than that just a minute ago and he turned it down. He thinks I traded down to #32 to be a dick and to make it personal. I did it because he wasn't being reasonable and if I couldnt meet his demands then I was going to offer the minimum necessary to make a bid. Because of his perception that I was operating out of spite, he says he will allow your bid to go through, but will match mine no matter what. In the end, the vikings are winners because they get Manning. I am a winner for a reason yet to be disclosed. The only loser is PSG because he completely botched his compensation for Manning out of pure greed, resentment, and spite. Nice job ruining your team for 2 late first round picks.

Really? That's not quite how I remember it going. I asked for 8 and 27 and Roos, you said no. And then you turned around and traded #8 and Roos in a fairly crappy deal on your part. Weird.
Of course I asked for more, I was trying to get full value for Manning. But instead of negotiating with me you turn around and trade the 2 pieces I wanted. I guess you were trying to prove a point, not really sure.
And then you tell me just now I have to take your deal of your 2 first and Derek Morgan (wow, thanks for the generosity) or you walk, again zero negotiating on your part.
I guess you just like power trips, again, not sure. I had pretty much given up on Manning and was gonna use 2 of my 3 firsts to move up in the top 10, but now maybe I will match "just to be a dick."

Ok, so because I trade #8 and Roos for a different left tackle and a lower first rounder, it just had to be because of you? Right? You made it clear that I couldnt meet your demands. I didnt trade Roos and #8 behind your back. I told you as I was negotiating what was happening. I gave you every chance to preserve #8 as party of the compensation. You ruined it yourself with your greed. Where did it get you? Yes I offered you my 2 1sts and Derrick Morgan, because I am in a position to make that offer. It is a take it or leave it offer. It is not a demand. I am not negotiating on this because I have another offer on the table. You either beat that offer or I walk. Those were your options. You refused so I walk. Im not being personal. Its not about power trips, although leverage is a key part in any negotiation. If you dont realize who has the leverage, then you will most definitely end up with a bad deal, or no deal at all.
