Hey rules are rules why fight the rules or try and improve them? nah not all your players just players I want. That LS is going to look DAMN FINE on my team.
What if you value him at 450k and want him but are unsure if you'll be able to keep him (depending on what the draft or future FA brings)? If that "what the heck" 500k bid comes in, you're likely not upping it to 550k b/c of the extra circumstances involved.
Ya nevermind the fact that it practically ruined two peoples fun last year...didnt affect me personally because it wasnt my player. Spare no expense. I dont wanna slag you with anything...I just want a GM league without BS..this is supposed to be fun instead its creating BS. ding ding ding. Right answer. Hes doing it because its a legal strategy right?
I did come up with a recommendation, last year when Gish got Manning in a trade he cut him, so I recommended tagged players that are traded shouldn't be cut, see I'm always looking to fix loopholes. Some of them are just blackholes.
He doesn't like said strategy. He hates it. He's been complaining about it. So then he goes out and does the strategy. Is that not hypocrisy at it's finest?
I'm not arguing the decision he made, just the reason why he made the decision. If you cannot see the difference between the two then I cannot help you.
I was too quick to judge its brilliance. Its actually a really good strategy I implore everyone to use it.
do unto others as others do unto you right? I do see the difference, but the reason really doesnt matter in this case. I already gave you the solution. If you want this chaotic crap then you can do it next year too but I wont be in this league for it. Its dumb and I wont encourage such silliness by supporting it.
I made a league-wide vote that is stickied in the main forum. I know this issue is just going to keep coming up (more complaints will be made as FA continues) so if the rule stays... Blame democracy, not me.
Then shouldn't that be only happening to me? I don't mind if it does, but to go after Griddles for my strategy, petty.
You at least Googled Brian Jennings before you bid on him, right? Now you're just going to chase after every player I go after because I know how to spot talent. Because you know, last year... -pats self on back- I won the Best of Free Agency award so I know how to spot talent... except in the draft, I'm rather hit and miss in that.
Im not either. Its more a matter of principle No, because GIK is A) defending your strategy and B) thereby enabling such a strategy. I think your "strategy" is whats petty. Goodnight.
