Fourth string QB Pat White was nearly brought into the game with 6:20 left and the Dolphins pinned back on their 3-yard-line. But with the Dolphins sitting on a 10-7 lead, Sparano opted to leave Tyler Thigpen in for a seventh series. Thigpen’s final play count, Sparano said, was 36 snaps, right around the expected number. White’s, of course, was three, including a harmless handoff and two kneel-downs to end the game. “I really kind of wanted to see Tyler in that situation, so I used him there,” Sparano said. “Unfortuantely we just didn’t get the ball back with some time for Pat, but that might change.” …
