I don't agree with this statement.

You go to the game plan that you think works best, you don't change it just so Ginn can say HA-Ha.

If it happens, great, but you don't go nuts trying to do it.

It's all about the Win right now and nothing else.

Sparano and Henning wont get suckered into this. Let them worry about it and let Chris Johnson overdo himself to try and prove his point. All our D needs to do is bottle him up and Hit him Hard. Easier said than done but the weather will help to slow him down.

I love this. Our gameplan relies so little on Ginn and theirs so much on Johnson - I love that Johnson and the Titans are putting a ton of pressure on this "story". If it gets in Ginn's head and he has a bad game it barely impacts our gameplan. If the same happens to Johnson this is a blow-out.

i for one believe that bad weather helps offenses and the running game .... either way - if we can hold Johnson to ~ 100 yds ... we can win this game .... what we need is a good game for our OLBs to hold the corners and keep VY in check.

The Titans organization is probably enjoying this. As you guys said, CJ is such a large part of their offense, and Ginn such a small part of ours. Maybe the Titans are hoping we try to get Ginn involved more to "show them who's boss" or something. I think the Titans are hoping we force it to Ginn too much and too often, and we all know what happens when we do that.....

I hope the coaches stick to the original gameplan.

Perhaps if your running game includes a punishing runner, something Johnson will NEVER be confused for.
It will definately slow the field down some. And that's a positive for us

"Ted Ginn" and "honor" don't belong in the same sentence...unless "lack of" is included.

If he had any honor, Ginn would give back a significant portion of his $14M signing bonus and the +/-$3M in salary he has collected so far for dropping balls and ducking contact.

bad weather helps Johnson as well, he doesn't 'cut' a lot, changes direction - yes .... but you can do that in bad weather .... offenses as a whole do have the advantage - because they 'know' where they are going, and don't have to read and react - that can hamper a defense in bad weather.

but its much easier for a RB to change direction in bad weather than it is for a defender to react to it.

I think we are looking at this whole foot race in the wrong light.
I think we need to make this happen.

If Ginn runs an amazing 40, Al Davis may fall in love with him, and draft his entire draft to get his next great WR!

I agree, you don't change the gameplan because rival players are talking ****. The coaches are smart enough to know that players are always yapping their gums and it's nothing more than a sideshow for the media. The Titans sure as hell better win this game or all of their talking will be for nothing. Whether it's Johnson, Porter, Crowder, Scott, Lewis, etc the players need to just shut their yap and play the damn game.

While it may motivate Ginn a tiny bit extra, I think this thing is being overstated.

This is a funny thread we talk way to much Ginn. Front office could care less if Ginn wants more balls his way. ROFLMAO
