http://www.miamidolphins.com/aquavision/video/fins-friday-five-nolan-carroll Carroll apparently is a Wr to Cb convert, Sean Smith underwent the same conversion at Utah, but had more experience as a Db. Would not surprise me if he has a shot at returning kicks as he could have Wr ball skills..hopefully..normally such conversion happen because the fmr Wr couldn't catch the ball in the first place.
Gotta love the fact that we're drafting captains... Side note: Why do I have trouble believing Nolan watched Abdul-Jabaar a lot?
I don't know....Why do you have trouble believing that? Abdul-Jabbar was the leading rusher on the team in 96, 97, and 98.
I assumed Caroll was only 1 year older than I am. Apparently he was 10 and old enough to recognize the names on the jerseys at the time. Mah bad yo.
Seems really mature for his age in his interviews. Hope the talent shines through for this kid. Soft spoken, low key, probably interviews better than I ever could... BTW-here's what I would look like interviewing...
