Well, if you didn't see it yet and you don't know what happened, the following video will show everything. Who knew the actual winner until a few seconds after the checkered flag drops? Even the man waving the flag didn't know. The commentator didn't know. I thought JR was going to cross the line first... was looking for Dixon who I thought was in second. But I have such a bone to pick with ABC yet again! They are the worst at showing the end of a race. This is a proven fact. From this year, to 2010, to 1992... see for yourself. They had no idea who was in second.... er er er... and the winner is Dan Wheldon... WTF!? What happened to Scott Dixon!?!? They didn't even show Wheldon's last couple of laps after the race concluded. Would have been nice to see something in retrospect. The most important race of the year, if you believe so, the 100th running.. technology at an all time high. You have on board cameras on the pits that swing around and show everything being worked on... You can bet though if Danica Patrick was in Wheldon's position, the coverage would have been on her the majority of the time. Pathetic. Note: I thought the car that slowed forcing Hildebrand into the marbles to pass was Wheldon's teammate... apparently not so, similar paint scheme... MISSED by ABC... watch closely at the end when the checker flags wave. Well, that's all you can see. Is it that hard to show the end of a race and comment on what is happening?!?!?! I've come to expect it. Can Fox or ESPN buy the rights to the race? Funny thing is, ABC and ESPN are now joined by the balls... wouldn't know it by watching ABC's coverage.
