I'd love to be a member of the Luxury Box but I haven't given the site squat. (Parents are a pain with spending money on internet lol)

I was thinking about that as well. Everyone is welcome to come and express their opinions with us but I really like who we have now. Another few people came over the last few days and they're good people as well. I hope it stays like this.

alen i think you're contributions are valuable enough someone could sponsor you. i'd do it but i'm not a member of the luxury box... but i'd vote for your admission into there given your contributions & knowledge.

I know where You're coming from. I'm not able to put our any money at all. I would love to, because this site and all of you have given me so much. I may even be out out the club level when my renewal comes up as it looks with finances right now.
So maybe us po' folks can stick together. LOL

 

While I see what you are saying, and do feel the same sentiments to a degree, progression in enivitable. If you dont grow you cease to be able to expand and improve as a site. The more people that come on the site and become club and luxery members the more things that will be possible for us to have on this site.

 

Thanks man, appreciate it. I'll try to get the parents to empty the wallet a little bit, at least when the CL membership runs up. I couldn't take a sponsor though, no matter how much I'd appreciate it though. I hate borrowing or being given money, that's why I never place a bet on anything lol. The one time I made a bet on a football game with a friend, I won the bet but I wouldn't take the money from my friend lol.

That's true. I wish the best the site and hope that the people who run this site accomplish their goals that they have set for the site. I was just saying that I'd be perfectly fine if we were left with the people we have now.

well you would never receive the money... either it would be paid for you, or they would just give you an honorary entrace with no $$ paid. Finheaven used to do this with VIP memberships for those who added valuable contributions but didn't have the $$ to put up. I don't see why this can't be suggested to the "brass" here at TP.

Yeah, I don't know about that lol. I'm happy with whatever, this site has done enough for me lol.

 

we do that here with Club Memberships also... although on a smaller scale.
Club = VIP
Luxury box here is the same as Premium there ... we never "comped" Premium memberships at FH... it was very exclusive there. Much more so than here. I doubt we'll comp Lux box though since it's by nomination/vote by existing Luxxers

 

i understand that and am taking NOTHING away from that... what i'm saying is if you guys are more interseted in quality and content while being less interested in just having a super secret squirrel club, you would look past financially excluding valuable additions.

hey, if need be, i'll take my usual "above and beyond VIP donation" i make annually and put it towards alen's entrance into luxury assuming you guys would vote him in.

for the record Tex.. there were no "honorary" memberships. Every VIP gift was paid for by other VIP members. We have tried to continue this program though our "essay" contest. Sadly there has not been enough interest for two quarters now for that to work.

Alen, your good work here has not gone unnoticed my young friend. Several of your brothers were bragging about you very recently. Many, such as myself, have come to greatly respect what you bring to the table, and we appreciate it.

 

or you can pay for lucky's vip membership when its due again because he's a cheap ***..............

I would also like to put my vote in for Alen in the luxury box. However I would also like to nominate him to be a mentor for all that he does for new members on the site (pm's them anytime he can/they ask) and also Alen deserves to be a mod as well.

If anyone deserves any special recognition its alen. Always keep him at the top of your list guys/gals in charge.

I would also like to take this time to thank all the owners/upper staff because you guys have made this site great. Notice I never became a VIP at Finheaven or even had over 526 posts. I hit this place up everyday.

Thanks for the nice words bro but I'm just like the rest of you. I'm just happy to be part of the site and want to be just like everyone else. I spend a lot of time here to learn football and it keeps me out of trouble lol.

 

I'm just befuddled at that. I mean, I'm not complaining about it on my end (in fact the opposite ). I hope people aren't too chicken to enter it.

That's why I drafted alen1's post count in the poster draft because it's enormous.

 

I understand that alen but I am just saying when its time for someone to be honored for their contribution to the site you should be first on the list.

Also the Alen1s.com has a nice ring to it.

 

I think everyone who has time should enter it to be honest. When you write those things, you learn a lot about your own football knowledge. I have never entered a contest but I have done a few write-ups on the site. I learn a lot from not only the web and film but about myself. I definitely recommend at least giving a shot at it. There's nothing to lose. If you win, you get to post with the smartest people on the site. If you lose, you learn from the others and enhance your knowledge. Its really a win/win situation in my honest opinion.

And its still not on your roster-sig! I quit!

edit: Btw, I think your the only one whose still representing their team in their signature.

I would like to add, that all of you sticking up for Alen and pointing out what a great member he is (DONT GO THERE LUCKY OR ENFORCER) also deserve great credit.
