Wow ... I had not noticed that. That infuriates me. Even though I hardly visit there anymore, I have a good mind to PM him my disappointment and dismay.
If you werent there for the divide then you arent really aware of the situation, so more then likely most of the members on there dont even know about the Admin. Not all members of forums have the insight to get to know the owners and the people that run the sites they post on. I for one do, at first I thought Celtkin was a hard a$$, and kind of a prick. I dont think he's a harda$$ anymore.
i actually appreciate the fact that there are two distinct strong forums now... it offers change, variety, and perspective. what i don't like is how one of the sites censors every post and PM so you cannot ever mention or even reference the other. THAT is childish and petty..... then to ban members for mentioning this site, removing VIP access, what have you? Take the high road, let the users decide where they want to go. I can't understand what must be going on in whoever's head that made them decide to pull such a "big brother" move. outside of those childish antics, i still do appreciate FH and visit there from time to time. I have come to find TP as my home though
I go over there for the depths....but its not the same. I dont know if I grew up, or just dont find it funny anymore. Probably the latter.
Anyone who knows Mal and George would see right through that line of BS. And quite frankly anyone who would believe it more than likely already had their mind made up due to the fact that they found themselves in trouble because the TOS was just too gosh darn tough to follow. Most, if not all, of the staff over there were serial troublemakers who were either banned or on the verge of it. Do we really care what they think? If you want to talk trash and deal with trollish behavior, go to their main forum (or VIP forum) and you'll have more than you can handle. The depths was dead even before the forum was removed, the members have moved on and that forum will never be the same as it once was. Don't live in the past, look towards a better future.
