Not sure I agree with this, though. Just because they wound up taking Tannehill doesn't necessarily mean that Ross was insisting on it (although I'm sure Ross may have been lobbying to some degree). Word leaked out late last season that Ireland was quite high on Tannehill, so I'm skeptical as to any strong-arm tactics Ross supposedly had to employ.

 

Anything's possible. A lot seemed to be pointing to it, though. You had Florio and King reporting it, THEN you had Ireland and Ross yell from the Heavens that it wasn't so. Like, they wanted to make sure EVERYONE knew it wasn't the case...then they draft him :lol:
